- We invite you to participate in the II International conference «Arctic Logistics» organized by the Association of Suppliers for Oil and Gas industry “Murmanshelf”. The conference will take place on April 5th 2012. On the basis of researches and discussions with the key actors of the Logistics industry we are forming the program of the conference which will reflect modern topics and last events in the sphere of logistics.
Mapping project
The Project was initiated by network organizations Murmanshelf in Murmansk, Sozvezdye in Arkhangelsk and Petro Arctic in Hammerfest/ Kirkenes and started up in the beginning of 2007. The project's aim is to make a summary over ongoing and potential petroleum and petroleum related projects and viable discoveries in the Northern Area.
The purpose was also to put the different projects on a time schedule for development and/ or operation and even to try to estimate the supply possibilities.
The responsibilities for collecting, analysing and presenting of information were allocated in such a way:
- Murmanshelf is responsible for gathering information regarding Russian part of the Barents Sea and Pechora Sea
- Sozvezdie is dealing with information about Arkhangelsk Region, Nenetsk Autoniomus Okrug, Yamal and the Kara Sea
- Perto Arctic is in charge of information regarding the Norwegian shelf from the southern limit of the country Nordland to the Russian border and the disputed area.
