The fourth resident of the territory of advanced development (TOR) "Capital of the Arctic" was LLC "Sea Terminal TULOMA" with a project to build a modern competitive specialized terminal for bulk cargo and ensure its operation in the seaport of Murmansk. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Murmansk region.

The volume of investments will amount to more than 12.5 billion rubles.

According to the deputy governor of the Murmansk region Olga Kuznetsova, "this is one of the anchor projects of the TOR, which will be implemented in Mezhdurechye.

"It should be noted that the manufacturers of these products are implementing the task set by the president to reorient the transshipment of their products from foreign, primarily terminals located in the Baltic countries to sea terminals in Russian ports," she added.

The terminal is designed for unloading mineral fertilizers and apatite concentrate from railway cars, their short-term storage in warehouses and loading into sea vessels. The project is included in the long-term development program of FSUE Rosmorport.

In accordance with a government order, the construction of the terminal was included in the territorial planning scheme of the Russian Federation in the field of federal transport (railway, air, sea, inland water, pipeline transport) and federal roads. The volume of private investments in the project will amount to 13.36 billion rubles, the volume of state support funds - 1.19 billion rubles.

The terminal is planned to be commissioned in March 2023, the capacity will be 4 million tons per year with the possibility of increasing to 6 million tons. 249 new jobs will be created.

We add that today the residents of TOR "Capital of the Arctic" are also LLC "NOVATEK-Murmansk," LLC "Terminal" Udarnik "and LLC" Reneyssans Arctic. " The total investment exceeds 95 billion rubles.
