As it is announced by Alexey Tyukavin, First Vice-Governor of Murmansk region, III Murmansk International Business Week is going to take place from 17 till 21, November 2014. This report was discussed at the first meeting of working group formed for preparing and holding the week.  

Main issues of Murmansk International Business Week are prospects of social and economic development of Murmansk region as future strategic center of Russian Arctic zone.
Among traditional events are VII International Conference “Arctic Development: Step by Step”, Business Summit of the chambers of commerce and industry “Cooperation on the Arctic region”, V International Conference “Mining Industry of Barents Euro/ Arctic Region: view to the future”.

There will be also some new projects like tourist exhibition “Made in Arctic” (including gastronomic festival), talk-show “Arctic life style” and discussion of creation of northern design cluster.

Programme of III Murmansk International Business Week, as usual, is eventful by exhibitions: X International Specialized Exhibition “SecTec’14 – technologies and equipment for Russian Arctic zone”, VII Regional Exhibition “Murmansk region – Investment”, VII Regional Exhibition of fancy and creative work “Masters’ Golden hands”.

Main aim of III Murmansk International Business Week is to offer effective decisions for control of economic challenges and resource mobilization for rapid social and economic development of the region minding opinions of business society, science and education organizations.
