At a General Meeting of Association of suppliers for oil-and-gas industry “Murmanshelf “ the  priority directions of  activity for 2011-2012 were defined:
• Continuation of the work with the parent and subsidiary Gazprom companies, as well as with companies Shtokman Development AG, Statoil, Total and other operators;
• Feeding the members of Association with information about upcoming tenders, assisting the members in completing pre-qualification documents;
• Analysis of Russian participation in the Shtokman project, facilitating of technology transfer from foreign to Russian companies;
• Organization and holding of international conferences, seminars and B2B meetings in conjunction with operators and the general contractors of projects;
• Development of international cooperation between foreign and Russian members of Association "Murmanshelf" that favoured  building alliances for participation in tenders held by operators of projects;
• Presentation of the production capacity of members of Association through participation in holding in Russia and abroad conferences, exhibitions, forums and business meetings;
• Constant interaction with regional authorities and local governments on maximizing the participation of members of the Association in the implementation of investment projects on the territory of the Murmansk region: development of the Shtokman gas condensate field, the reconstruction of the Murmansk transport hub, etc.;
• Providing of information and organizational support for the "Murmanshelf construction" Consortium, ANO " Arctic Centre for Oil and Gas Professionals", the "Murmanshelf Logistics" Consortium,  the "MurmanshelfIinfo" magazine;
• Participation in the development and implementation of targeted programs in conjunction with the Russian Government and Ministry of Defence, the Murmansk Regional Duma;
• Interaction of Association with financial institutions;
• Participation in projects on information Murmansk Region;
• Building the information human resources base, sharing of data on specialists between the regional authorities and local authorities for further selection and job placement.
