On November 2, 2010 in the office of Murmanshelf Association was held the meeting with representatives of the Norwegian Organization North Energy.
North Energy - the oil company that is engaged in research and production activities. The head office is situated in Alta, Finnmark County.

Gazprom decided in favor of the subsea production system for the Kirinskoye field development under the Sakhalin III project. This technology is unprecedented in Russia. Vladimir Vovk, Head of the Directorate for Offshore Fields Development Technology is sure that implementation of subsea production systems is safe and economically viable.

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Helge Lund, President and Chief Executive Officer of Statoil.

The Company’s headquarters hosted a working meeting moderated by Alexey Miller and devoted to development of the Shtokman gas and condensate field.

Participating in the meeting were heads and experts of Gazprom’s structural subdivisions, subsidiaries and Shtokman Development AG.

SDAG held a scoping meeting with public on August 26, 2010 in Teriberka, Murmansk Region on basic ESHIA (Project Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment) issues. ESHIA is carried out in compliance with environmental and social requirements of international finance institutions (International Finance Corporation, World Bank and EBRD), and international ecological legislation.

General Director of Association of suppliers for oil-and-gas industry Stratiy Grigory was appointed as a Governor of Murmansk region’ adviser by order of Murmansk region Governor Dmitrienko Dmitry from July, 07   2010. He will coordinate the development of oil and gas and infrastructure projects on the territory of Murmansk region.

01.07.2010 Association Murmanshelf  together with Shtokman Development AG held the seminar on “Integrated development of Shtokman gas condensate field, Phase 1. Current status of the project. Participation of Russian industry in Shtokman project”.

Norwegian and Russian partners plan to establish a technical base in Murmansk for participation in the development of the Shtokman gas field in the Barents Sea.

Under the Shtokman Development AG Board of Directors decision made on May 25, 2010 Alexey Zagorovsky was appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Celebrations to mark the beginning of construction of Nord Stream gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea were held today at the Portovaya compressor station near Vyborg, Leningrad Oblast.

On 02 November, 2009 Grigory Stratiy, General director NPO "Association "Murmanshelf", held a meeting with a delegation from the United Kingdom, headed by Energy Minister, Lord Hunt.

The Board of Directors of Shtokman Development AG held a meeting in Moscow. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee Alexander Medvedev, with the participation of Total CEO Christophe de Margerie and StatoilHydro President and CEO Helge Lund.

The project for the Shtokman gas and condensate field development, being implemented in the Murmansk Oblast, is not only a largest project of Gazprom, but a strategic one on the national level.

Many of those present here may know that the Shtokman gas and condensate field is situated in the central part of Russia

Today in Murmansk Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dmitry Dmitrienko, Governor of the Murmansk Oblast, have signed an Agreement of Cooperation over 2010 to 2015.
