On January 25-26, 2012 in Oslo (Norway) took place the 10th jubilee Russian-Norwegian oil and gas conference dedicated to oil & gas field development on the Arctic shelf and perspectives of Russian-Norwegian cooperation in this sphere.

On January 25, 2012 a meeting was held in Moscow between Alexey Zagorovskiy, CEO of Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) and Igor Fyodorov, Governor of Nenets Autonomous Region.

The regular meeting of Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) Board of Directors was held in Moscow on December 29, 2011. The Board of Directors reviewed the Company’s activities in 2011 and stated that extensive work on the preparatory stage of the Project was carried out during the year.

The Gazprom Board of Directors took notice of the information on the Company's preliminary 2011 operating results, projected Investment Program, Budget (Financial Plan) and Cost Optimization (Reduction) Program for 2013–2014.

The Board of Directors approved Gazprom's Investment Program, Budget (Financial Plan) and Cost Optimization (Reduction) Program for 2012.

On December 8, 2011 Teriberka Rural Settlement in Murmansk region hosted Third Public Hearings where Design and Engineering Documentation (DED) for Shtokman gas-condensate field (SGCF) Development Phase 1 facilities was discussed. During the hearings representatives of Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) and companies involved in DED development, in particular Technip Rus, Giprospetsgaz, Frecom, made their presentations. The speakers presented results of environmental impact assessment of construction and operation near Teriberka of Liquefied Natural Gas Plant and Onshore infrastructure facilities such as administrative support area, operational personnel camp.

Yesterday night, the Arkticheskaya jack-up offshore drilling rig escorted by tugs was moored at Murmansk port’s berth number 35. The drilling unit constructed at Zvezdochka Shipyard has undergone all acceptance trials during the transition. The Arkticheskaya rig will be handed over to the Customer, LLC Gazflot in December 2011, the shipbuilder’s Murmansk branch said Monday.

On November 15 Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) and Russian office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-Russia) initiated a working meeting on environmental safety during Shtokman field development.

The annual International Forum “Gas of Russia — 2011” was held on November 15 in Gazprom Headquarters. The goal of the Forum was to discuss the issues related to the current status of innovation development and international cooperation in the gas sector. Alexey Zagorovskiy, CEO of “Shtokman Development AG” (SDAG), spoke about the current status and prospects of integrated development of the Shtokman Gas-Condensate Field.

Celebrations were held today at a gas metering station near the town of Greifswald (Germany). The celebrations were dedicated to the commissioning of the first string of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

On September 29, 2011 in Murmansk the IV International Conference “Arctic Shelf Development: Step by Step” has been held. This Conference is organized by the Association of the Oil and Gas Suppliers “Murmanshelf” and Russian Gas Society under the auspices of the Government of the Murmansk Region and Murmansk Regional Duma.

Aleksandr Selin, Director of SDAG Murmansk Branch, has made a report at the Conference.

Between September 14 and 15 Moscow is hosting the 31st plenary meeting of the Technical Committee for Standardization – ISO/TC 67 “Materials, Equipment and Offshore Structures for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries”.

On August 29, 2011 in the course of the teleconference Mr. Dmitry Dmitrienko, Governor of the Murmansk Region and Mr. Alexei Zagorovskiy, Chief Executive Officer of the Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) discussed current issues of cooperation between SDAG and the Government of the Murmansk Region.

The parties have underlined the importance of state support of investment activities and modification of regional income tax and property tax laws. In compliance with adopted amendments, strategic projects the be realized in the region may be exempt from property tax, with regional income tax rate being 13.5%.

Offshore ice-resistant fixed platform "Prirazlomnaya" arrived this morning at its designated location in the Pechora Sea, Sevmash press office said.

Today in Murmansk from the shipyard of the Zvezdochka Shiprepairing Center, following the completion of all startup operations, the towing of the Prirazlomnaya offshore ice-resistant stationary platform to the Prirazlomnoye field started.

Murmansk hosted today a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dmitry Dmitrienko, Governor of the Murmansk Oblast.

On July 20, 2011 a meeting was held in Moscow between Alexey Zagorovskiy, CEO of Shtokman Development AG (SDAG) and Valery Yazev, deputy Chairman of the RF State Duma to discuss the issues related to the state support of the Shtokman gas condensate field development. Specifically, the parties discussed a package of legislative measures to increase the economic attractiveness of the field development as well as expansion of the investment potential of the projects to develop shelf fields in the Arctic in general.
