This is the 3rd and last Industry Workshop for Environmental Protection, Monitoring Systems & Oil Spill Contingency Focus Area within the national strategic project: Russian - Norwegian Oil & Gas Industry Cooperation in the High North (RU-NO Barents Project). The RU-NO Barents Project will identify the challenges, assess the technology/solutions currently available and the technology/solutions needed for extracting oil and gas resources in the Barents, Pechora and Kara Seas in an environmentally sound and safe way. Once concluded, the Project will show where there is a need for innovation and further technological development.
This Mining & Exploration Forum, the largest in Europe, will held from 29-31 of October, 2013, at the ski resort of Levi, Main point of discussion is the development of Fennoscandia mineral resources.

(representing approximately 13.70% of the issued share capital of Saras S.p.A. and approximately 21.5% of the aggregate stake of the sellers) for a total consideration of Euro 178,498,510. Gian Marco Moratti and Massimo Moratti will sell all of the shares personally held in Saras S.p.A. equal to 6,000,000 each. As a result of the transaction, which will be completed on April 23, 2013, Angelo Moratti S.a.p.a. will retain a controlling stake in Saras S.p.A. equal to approximately 50.02%.

Rosneft today announces the completion of transactions to acquire TNK-BP. Rosneft has finalised the deals to acquire BP’s 50% share in TNK-BP in exchange for $16.65 billion in cash and 12.84% of Rosneft shares. Separately BP acquires 5.66% of Rosneft shares from OFSC ROSNEFTEGAZ.
Rosneft has finalized the acquisition of AAR's 50% share in TNK-BP in exchange for cash consideration of $27.73 billion USD in correspondence with the terms, agreed upon by the parties in October 2012. This amount is calculated basing on the terms of purchase price formation, stipulated by the purchase agreement.
The parties had previously received all necessary corporate and regulatory approvals for closing the deal. This deal is independent from previously announced deal of acquiring BP's 50% share in TNK-BP.
Rosneft and BP today completed a number of transactions, in line with the terms announced in October 2012. As a result of the transactions:
o BP receives net $12.48 billion in cash, including a TNK-BP dividend of $0.71 billion, and 18.5 per cent Rosneft shares;
o Rosneft becomes holder of BP’s 50 per cent interest in TNK-BP in exchange for $16.65 billion in cash and 12.84 per cent of Rosneft shares;
o OFSC ROSNEFTEGAZ sells 5.66 per cent in Rosneft to BP in return for $4.87 billion in cash;

The Gazprom Management Committee approved the Investment Rationale for LNG plant near Vladivostok. The Investment Rationale will lay the foundation for generating the project documentation.

Rosneft and Eni agreed to strengthen their cooperation by signing a strategic agreement to develop trading and logistics opportunities. The agreement was signed on February 23 in Rome by Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, and Marco Alverà, CEO of Eni Trading & Shipping (ETS).

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order transferring the rights to develop 12 acreages on the Russian continental shelf to Rosneft.

Design and exploration work is underway within the project Phase 2 and Phase 3. Front-end engineering and design (FEED) documents for the offshore facilities have been elaborated in accordance with the international standards. Engineering surveys are at their final stage. Preparation of the project documents in compliance with the Russian standards is nearly completed. The documents will be submitted for the state expert review in 2013.
Rosneft today signed in Munich at 7:45 AM local time an agreement to purchase from the AAR Consortium (Alfa Group, Access Industries and Renova) its 50% stake in TNK-BP. The purchase price in the transaction is determined based on the base value of AAR’s stake in TNK-BP of $28 bln. Completion of the transaction is subject to approvals from Russian and European antimonopoly bodies and is expected to occur in the first half of 2013.

Rosneft and INTER RAO UES have concluded a contract on the supply of up to 875 billion cubic metres of gas. The contract envisages annual supplies of up to 35 bcm of Rosneft-produced gas to the power plants of INTER RAO – Electric Power Plants (or any other INTER RAO UES power plants) beginning on 1 January 2016 and running through 31 December 2040 on a take-or-pay basis. 32.3 bcm of gas is to be supplied in 2016.
Rosneft confirms that BP, in connection with the sale of its interest in TNK-BP to Rosneft, has waived its right to negotiate in good faith to purchase the AAR consortium’s stake in TNK-BP.
Rosneft today announces that it has entered into an agreement in principle with BP to acquire its 50% interest in TNK-BP in exchange for $17.1 billion in cash and 12.84% Rosneft shares currently held in treasury.
In connection with the proposed transaction, BP has offered to purchase from Rosneft’s parent, Rosneftegaz, at a price of $8.00 per share, an additional 600 million Rosneft shares, representing a 5.66% stake in Rosneft. Rosneftegaz has until 3 December 2012 to accept this offer.

Yesterday night, the Arkticheskaya jack-up offshore drilling rig escorted by tugs was moored at Murmansk port’s berth number 35. The drilling unit constructed at Zvezdochka Shipyard has undergone all acceptance trials during the transition. The Arkticheskaya rig will be handed over to the Customer, LLC Gazflot in December 2011, the shipbuilder’s Murmansk branch said Monday.

On April 13 a regular Shtokman Development AG Board meeting was held in Zurich (Switzerland). Having reviewed the proposed gas transportation options the Shareholders approved two phase flow as the Project technical concept. The two phase flow concept implies delivery of gas and gas condensate onshore from the field followed by separation. The Board of directors also confirmed the implementation milestones of the Project: first pipeline gas supply in 2016 and start up of LNG Plant in 2017.
On 7th April 2011 an international conference “Logistics in Arctic” took place. As organizers in the conference took part “Murmanshelf” and the Ministry for Transport and Communication of Murmansk Region. The conference was held under support of the and Murmansk Regional Duma. Evgeny Nikora, a Chairman of the Murmansk Regional Duma, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

SDAG held a scoping meeting with public on August 26, 2010 in Teriberka, Murmansk Region on basic ESHIA (Project Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment) issues.
